[Kmymoney] File Size - Archiving part?

Hi Greg,

I think this start-up time is normal with such "large" files. And you are 
right; the time KMyMoney needs to load .kmy files depends on the number of 
entries in that file.

You could try to save your data in a sqlite file (use save in database and open 
database). This *should* decrease the start-up time. But you will need more 
patience anyway. Also it has no encryption, yet.

There is no archive tool in KMyMoney. But reducing the number of entries will 
speed up KMyMoney. But you should try a database first.

The developers are aware of that problem and have some ideas to solve it. But 
as they do not have time this problem will stay for a while.
