[Kmymoney] Select transactions in a report by security

On a different computer I have 4.6.1 but found no solution either.
But it seems KMyMoney can use an SQL DB.
Would that be a solution? I'm quite familiar with SQL (PostgreSQL).
Can SQL expressions be used for reporting?
