Too confirm, I get the same result with 4.6.1 stable.

I'm puzzled though, by the qif thing.

Peter's qif file definitely gives me a problem.  The file, as I see it, 
has '.' as the decimal symbol, with ',' seen in comments.  My qif 
profile has '.' for decimal, but the decimal gets dropped on import.  My 
own files work as expected.

I can edit the file to use both '.' and ',' but they both get ignored.
