[Kmymoney] unable to use AqBanking with KMM - 'Get account(s)' and/or 'Update account(s)' do not work

Hi!
First I would like to thank all who have contributed and gave lots of
good advice to the subject, especially Thomas, Martin, Jack and Torsten.

I implemented and changed accordingly until the final step left was to
download the latest version of gwenhywfar and to compile it.
When gwenhywfar 4.2.1 was eventually in place my KMM could not find it (I had
changed the path) and >Settings>Configure AqBanking was not supported
anymore.

As some wise people recommend, I decided to choose a completely different
approach. (Thomas may forgive me!)

I added
'http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE/Distro/Factory/0pensuse_11.4'
to my repositories and from there installed KMM 4.6.0
To my surprise the latest versions of gwenhywfar and aqbanking were
automatically installed alongside.
Jack, please take note that the order of installation was: first KMM then
followed by aqbanking and then the various gwenhywfar modules!

And this is what I have now:
KMM 4.6.0
KDE 4.7.1
qt4 4.7.3
aqbanking 5.0.14
gwenhywfar 4.2.1

Now not only >Settings>Configure AqBanking was working but I also was
presented the same General Settings window that Torsten had sent me.
My Bank's URL had already been inserted by the system and I set the same
parameters that Torsten had furnished me.

The field for the TAN Medium ID was there as well. So, I filled it.
However, unlike with Torsten, in the 'Selected Tan Method' field I could
neither select nor enter the 972-SmartTan method which is mandatory according
to my Volksbank Mittelhessen's expert in charge.
I only can opt for one of the following:
904 SmartTAN vers 2
912 iTAN vers. 2
942 mobileTAN vers. 2
--select--
but none works.

Just as before, pressing the 'Get Accounts' button showed no effect at all
and hitting 'Update Account(s)' was rewarded with the message "The update job
is not supported by the bank/account/backend".

Regrettably, after having everything in place I still cannot use AqBanking.

Martin, what is so different with Volksbank Mittelhessen that makes it
impossible using AqBanking while Thomas and Torsten and probably thousand
others can use it?
The crucial point seems to be this missing 972 Smart-TAN plus.
How can I force KMM (whom else?) to make it accessible to me?
Is somebody out there in the user community who knows how to resolve this?

Thanks again for your continuing assistance and
Cheers!
