Not answering your query, I'm afraid, just curious that Fidelity have a
direct connect service.  Is this published somewhere?

The fix mentioned was a patch, which was added at the time.  Are you
up-to-date with your revision levels?  Oh, I see you're on Natty and
that is likely to have the patch.

Have you used the service previously?
