Hi Allan

Yes I know we do things a little differently down here - but only
sometimes!

I would happily try the latest version of KMM but do not know how to
get it and install it.

However I am reluctant to think that it is a version issue as all
versions I have tried so far have done the same for me.

I have already deleted the incorrect accounts so will go and create a
new account manually and try again.

It will be an interesting exercise as I have done just this on both
Mint 9 and KMM 1.0.4 and Mint 10 and KMM 4.5.0 on previous occasions in
case I had missed something.

No harm in trying again.

Peter

Hi Allan

Back again

I have done exactly as you instructed,

all accounts were deleted,

clicked on Account - New Account - filled in blank fields and made it
credit card account under Liabilities.

Checked accounts under Liabilities and sure enough Amex Gold Credit
Card account with zero balance exists.

Now I did the following import separately twice one as Bank Statement
and the other as Other Application - same result both times.

File /Import / QIF / browsed for file/ QIF Default profile / Bank
Statement / Import.

Result: No change to the manually setup Amex Credit Card Liability
account.

Two Checking accounts under Assets - one Bank of Qld and the other Amex
Gold as previously mentioned.

I have yet to compare QIF files as mentioned by another Peter just a
few minutes ago.

This must be why I am going grey!! - cant be anything else - age
doesn't count.

Regards

Peter
