No, it's not you.

Having got my brain around the fact that we have two Peters
in the thread, this is interesting.

I've just installed KMM 4.5.2 on my openSuse, and it shows your
problem, too.  I wasn't expecting that.

So, we have a problem.  It seems like, pending an updated version being
available to you, all depends on whether or not manually creating the
account sorts it out.  Nothing untoward shows on the console log when
it goes wrong.
