Over a year later, I think it's been long enough, and there have been multiple
releases from the 5.2 branch, so I'm going to close this as unmaintained. 
While some people using LTS distributions may have to stick with 5.1.x until
they upgrade distros, it's bee some time since nothing else will be backported
to 5.1.x.
