problem with tax report

I have a report (Tax transactions by Category) which shows one  
transaction for a specific category, but not a nearly identical  
transaction.

They are both dividend transactions for the same investment, brokerage,  
and security accounts and the same category.  The only difference I  
have so far noted is that the included transaction has the Category in  
split 2 and the security account in split 3, where the "missing"  
transaction has them reversed.  I can think of no reason this should  
matter at all.  Both have the brokerage account in split 1.

I'll be glad to post more information, but would love to hear any  
thoughts on possible causes or troubleshooting steps.
