Bug ID: 519307
Summary: Bring back list of transactions to clone new
transaction from
Classification: Applications
Product: kmymoney
Version First 5.2.2
Reported In:
Platform: openSUSE
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: kmymoney-devel at kde.org
Reporter: alanjprescott at gmail.com
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
In kmymoney prior to 5.2.2 when entering a new transactions a list of previous
transactions for the same payee/recipient would be shown in a window allowing
the user to select a specific transaction to clone.
The current version simply clones the last transaction, giving no choice.
Where this is particularly is where a virtual payee has been created to save
having to create hundreds of payees for a simple transaction.
As an example there are a number of pharmacies in my local town in Crete any
one of which I may use but I don't want to create a payee entry for each one, I
simply create a single payee "Pharmacy" and maybe put the name (and often the
town) in the comment. Then, previously, when I entered a transaction for a
pharmacy I could select from the list an entry for the matching pharmacy and
clone from that one.
Please can we have this feature back.
