Another year, and lots of changes in both aqbanking and KMyMoney, which has a
5.2.1 release.
However, one of the underlying problems is that more and more banks and
institutions are discontinuing the use of Direct Connct, leaving only Web
Connect as a viable option.   For me, only Merrill Lynch still supports Direct
Connect, although I do not have any account with Chase to test.  You should
still be able to test separately with the libofx plugin and aqbanking, but I
would be rather surprised if either works.
At this point, I am tempted to say there is nothing left for KMyMoney to do,
but I'm not sure what status to use if we close this.
