Investment Import Issues

Yeah, I'm not surprised. I'm not sure where to start either. When 
something like this happens I usually keep an eye on bug reports to see 
if anyone else is having a similar problem before troubling anyone, 
especially when you are so busy after the new release. When no one else 
reports in, I know I'm in trouble.

After seeing your reply, I created a new KMM file, added 2 investment 
accounts and imported the same OFX files. The stock imported into both 
without any questions. There are some expected questions abut the other 
transactions. When I used the stock price updater, only one entry was 
there for the stock in question. In other words it worked as expected 
based on past experience.

I copied my active KMM file, deleted the stock in question from all 3 
accounts it's in, then deleted it from the investment tab (equities and 
securities sub tabs, there were 4 different entries for the same stock 
in the securities sub tab). The I imported 2 of the three OFX files and 
they worked correctly. Then I tried to update the stock price, again 
only 1 entry for the stock that had 3 purchases in each of 2 accounts. 
Yahoo could not get the price. This is because the symbol from my broker 
is BRK.B and Yahoo needs it to be BRK-B. Once I changed the symbol, KMM 
couldn't match it so it asked me to add it. When I entered the info for 
the one already in there (BRK-B),it kept asking me for the two 
additional purchases.

So is there a way to handle this situation where the broker and the 
price source have an minor difference like this? Fro now, I can change 
the symbol back when buying or selling this stock but I'm hoping there 
is a better way.
