misc observations on new ledger

Let me know if I should file these as bugs.

I'm now working my way through updating several of my accounts, and
reconciling a bunch of investment accounts, so I'm finding a number of
oddities while using the new ledger.

The Status dropdown is not highlighted in any way when it has the
focus. Clicking does show the list, and the up and down arrow keys
work fine, but there is no visual indication that the field is selected.

On imported or manually entered transactions, the category stays blank,
even though the payee has a default category specified.

When a transaction is selected, hitting Enter has no effect. I had
expected it to start editing the transaction.

When I select several transactions, the Edit entry in the right click
menu is not grayed out, but clicking it has no effect. As a wish-list,
it should show why the set of transactions cannot be edited, and the
menu item should appear disabled. In this case, the transactions were
identical (payee, category, memo) and only differed in date and amount,
so I would expect to be able to edit them to remove the memo.

I don't see any display of the current and cleared balance of the
account. I can see that much of the display around the ledger itself
has been removed to increase the amount of ledger which can be seen,
but at least the cleared amount is very useful to me, such as comparing
to an online balance.

In a credit card account, the online balance is displayed as a
negative, although the balance column is all positive numbers. It's
not necessarily wrong, but it's certainly a bit disconcerting.

If any of these are known issues and considered still work in progress,
is there a maintained list of such items, so I don't bother reporting
known issues?

Thanks for any feedback, but it does seem that the new ledger is in
much better shape than the last time I looked, and does seem usable for
day-to-day work.

Jack
