That actually make me suspect Wayland more than Gnome, although that's only a
guess.  Remember, Thomas was unable to reproduce, and I'm pretty sure he uses
KDE/Plasma with Xorg, not Wayland.  I also run Xorg, but can test Wayland at
some point to see if I can reproduce the problem.
