Then I'm closing this again.  There will be either a 5.0.2 or 5.1 release in
the near future, and this fix is planned to be included.  There are a number of
bug fixes in both branches, so one will likely be merged into the other before
the release.  That bit of git magic is beyond my pay grade, but the developers
are aware of it.
