As I see it, the originally reported problem was fixed by

(and the reporter confirmed it in comment#22), so this should be re-closed, yes
IMHO.

BUT: that fix should be merged to the 5.0 branch as well I'd say (it's only in
master currently), in case there will be a 5.0.2 release.
