thank you for your ideas. This feedback is exactly what I need.

Do you mean the account numbers tab in in the payees view? I am really unhappy 
with a lot of thinks here (like the one you mentioned). It is just really hard 
to get it right, actually I am thinking about changing everything to QML here.

No, this is not intentional. Sometimes it is saved sometimes not. This is an 
issue I have with Qt. Must be solved definitely.

Do you have a suggestion how this could be done without overloading the user 
interface?

This is intentional. The text which is too long should be marked in red. This 
prevents that a user pastes something important (e.g. a bill number) which 
gets cut. The user might not notice that cut and could have problems resulting 
from that.

A feature I am looking forward to (exactly: I want to have a completion with 
IBAN and BIC as well). But KMyMoney does not make it easy to create such a 
thing (unfortunately). This will take some time.

This is intended. There is no sense of showing a not formatted iban to the user. 
I plan to change that everywhere in KMyMoney (maybe the formatting should take 
place when the input filed losses the focus).
