Another user is having a similar problem, which I have been
investigating.  Is it possible to send me your file, with any sensitive
data disguised, as long as it still fails in the same way?

When you say "...the Ubuntu KMyMoney qif file.", are you meaning a file
that is OK imported by Ubuntu?
