Yes, that is the source file which would need to be compiled and
installed.  So you're better off staying with .deb packages.  Have a
look for the Claydoh PPA, and you should find how to install 4.6.3 from
there.

What I was really meaning was to let me know which columns you need.
There have been a few samples with over 25 columns, but yours may have
only a few, so as long as I know, if it isn't obvious.

Oh, and just a follow up.  I'm actually using the KDE version of Mint,
not Mate, but that will be OK.
