I think that would be good idea if you use same kind of message boxes than are 
used some other places and that have option "Do not display this message 
again.".

Thanks again for your hard work! As soon as you have implemented the tag 
functionality into splits-dialog, I can take the feature in real use. Then I 
will have more different usage situations that can raise new comments / 
suggestions.
