I assume you're using KMyMoney 1.0.5… You could consider using KMyMoney 4.6, which is available also through MacPorts as kmymoney4 or kmymoney4-devel port which is based on qt4-mac and there is no need for X11 anymore.

There are still some problems with the KMM4 version, but you might want to give it a shot.

But, be aware, it takes a couple of hours to build everything.
