Great idea.  I know I've been very inactive lately, but this is a good  
chance to update the manual, both to reference new and updated  
features, and to make some/many/all of the changes that have been  
mentioned in the mailing lists.  I will start going through my old  
messages, but if there is anything anybody thinks is particularly  
important to include, let me know (either private email or to the list)
