Thanks Thomas, that's a very basic point I should have taken into account.

The reason for the change was that, in KDevelop, none of the UI files is recognised.  All build OK
but auto-completion doesn't work on them, which is annoying.  The change seemed to improve things, but
that is not the right way to do it.

I'll look into the other points later.
