the translation team has made some observations regarding the what's new
page. We should change to generating the pages programmatically.
I can look into it.

My suggestion is to avoid having this kind of files, makes the maintainance
and translation a PITA, so i'd go with creating the html file
programatically
so you can use i18n there and translators just see some more strings in the
.po file.
