GSoC -- a suggestion

Hi all,

I have an idea for the SoC and a possible expansion of Krita: In the
layer Filtermask/Adjust is the filter Color Adjustment included. Is it
possible, to expent this filter whiththe following function: "measure
the color values directly in layer (or image), and show this position
within the curve?

Some time ago it was thought over to develop Krita to the tendency of
"photoshop". One of the main prepositions for an exact adjustment of the
colour grading or is the possibility to measure the tonal value and
manipulating in . In this case, Krita would be very similar to
"photoshop", and furthermore it had even more possibilities. Even now it
is possible to increase the window with the gradation curve in any size!
This is a very big plus for a detailed and fine work.
