Unfortunately, fork+pull request workflow requires commit access,
which beginners don't actually have. This is something that has come
up quite a few times in the gitlab kde developer mailinglist
discussion, and I am honestly not even sure what it will look like
once we have moved to gitlab, as forking means making a separate
repository, not just a separate branch, which is something that was
never done with the KDE infrastructure before. On this topic I won't
be able to give any answers till the migration has started.
