We have looked into that. The problem with Patreon is that it's tied to an 
individual, not a program or a community or an organization. That would put 
far too much pressure on Boudewijn to be "Mr. Krita" and it would misrepresent 
Krita at that: it *is* not the work of this one person! It would be both 
confusing and dishonest to present it as such.
