on krita animation functionality

yeah i was pretty sure it was vector indeed.

but looking at the line tool, a curve tool should be possible in some way.

but I would welcome what you proposed as well. Anything to make that slow process faster and better would be of much help.

I can imagine a tool

[dreammode on]
press 2 points ,you get a line. If you drag the line it becomes a curve
press a generated floating icon next to each point you made to continue the curve/line seamlessly.
Use modifier keys to make the continuation smooth or linear.
Each point you set is still dragable,as well as the curve for more control.
Be able to change width of brush in any place (least important part but could be very powerful)

[dreammode off]

it's nice to dream ,I guess =)

From about 9:50 it gets really interesting with
        the tools that are present.

I wonder if this is something that can only done with vector ,or
if this could also be tried with normal brushes (hard opaque)

For what it's worth, everything shown in this video is based on
    vector inking tools.

Long time ago, I made a feature request to add some similar advanced
vector inking system based on the calligraphy tool, but in its
current state it may be better to start something new from scratch.

The eraser at junctions seems kinda hard.

The Smooth tool is actually like a dedicated warp tool
        perhaps...?

The most achievable one however ,for bitmap, seems to be the
        curve tool.

A dedicated curve tool that works more like the line tool could
        be a nice extra addition.

Either that or the bezier curve would need a few extra options
        or some worfklow improvements.

I have a few ideas on how to implement this in a tool that would
work conceptually better then the one you see there. The only
thing is if it's possible to do,for that I will need developper
        feedback..
