Hi,
just a report ( for information ) : today I did a tiny test on a external
hardrive with an updated Ubuntu 12.04 on it. I compared performance between
version v2.3.91-569-g453fdda ( a revision who slept since april on this
hardrive when I tested 12.04 first time ) , and then I upgraded and
tested today build. And painting were not really more fast ; but a bit
smoother for me in the way it display to screen, in the way little
'hanging' appear here and there ( OpenGL , with and without ). I did this
to confirm a personnal feeling about actual version where I see often the
'square' tiled on canvas, waiting them to refresh image.
