Testers needed: Outline updating bug

After more hours painting with the branch it looks this fix also make a 
little usability behavior :
- While pressing 'Control' to got the color picker , the outliner remain 
displayed ; witch is annoying on certain type of brush with dot on the 
center.
I hope it can be easily fixed.
