I see what the problem is but don't know how this actually happens...
This has nothing to do with the wash/indirect painting mode.
For me it looks more like a mixing problem or something like an
optical illusion. It only happens with soft brushes and it looks like if
there
would be a light line between the dabs.
I need to check if the alpha values are calculated right and how
photoshop deals with it.
Maybe it's a precision problem... hmm... needs investigation :D
