Hi,

Just wanted to send this link to the list , for inspiration :
http://www.ctrlpaint.com/

A collection of fundamentals tutorial made by the same author ( the
digital painter Matt Kohr http://www.mattkohr.com/ ) , very informative
and clean ( on Ps ).
I like the fact they focus shortly on a single
aspect/technic/fundamentals of digital painting. That's why it can be
usefull to developpers interrested into ergonomic and GUI to see usage
scenario of users. It's also illustrating perfectly some of the technics
digital painter work with, from the very scratch.

The website contains a lot of videos, here are direct link to some :

* The upscaling process

* Applying decals/textures :

* preparing line-work :
http://www.ctrlpaint.com/home/2011/4/21/preparing-your-scanned-linework.html

etc... etc...

All this scenario ; if done succesfully on Krita ( and even with a more
smooth user experience ) can help increase the quality of it.
