The problem with the crosshair cursor is that the brush outline will lag
behind the cursor.
If you use a big brush, select the crosshair option and paint past, you
should see that the stroke
lags behind the cursor (because the cursor should have a higher painting
priority at any operating system).
And Cyrille said the cursor would be slightly off center, so i would
prefer to not use the crosshair cursor
and paint it for the crosshair only option too.
But i like the idea with the check boxes. We could have the cursor shape
options:
Tool Icon; Arrow; No Cursor; 3D Brush Model
and then two check boxes:
Show Brush Outline; Show Crosshair
Would this be acceptable? :D
