Oh, I have Nothing against showing a KDE connection. :) On the short
term, it sure has more advantages than disadvantages, because it is a
great platform for attracting more developers and associating Krita
with a known name while Krita is still relatively obscure.

On the very long term, this may be debated, but it will basically be
up to the future community to say if they want to keep the connection
or if on the contrary, they want to disassociate the two, just like
Gimp isn't associated with Gnome. But that's in the future.

In the meantime, I'm just saying that the design could be refined. :)
Look at kubuntu.org for example: the buttons are shinier than kde.org
(very rough example), and eventually Krita would maybe want to look
more its artistic part. Some of the redesign may also be necessary
to add new functions such as advanced resource management, but
Krita doesn't have those resources to manage yet so...

Good luck with 2.0! (any idea when an autopackage or the likes at
least could be released?)
