Gimp-style filters.

Gimp, the "other" image manipulation program has a raft of useful and 
funl filters, such as whirl and pinch, fisheye lens and many others. 
Has anyone looked into adapting these for Krita? Most are in Scheme 
but a few new ones are in Python.
