This week we'll be released the second beta -- 1.4.95. Then it should be 
simply a matter of upgrading the currently installed koffice components to 
beta2.

Great! I guess it'll be at the usual place, 
ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/unstable/koffice-1.4.95, but I'm not sure yet. And I 
think Debian, Kubuntu and SuSE will have binary packages again.
