I've added support for checking whether a filter won't maul your lovely 32 bit 
float/channel data. However, since I haven't had time to check all filters 
for complete cs independence, currently all filters advertise their intention 
to convert everything to 8 bit rgba. Which means we should check per filter 
how safe it is. There are three levels: fully cs indep, might go to 16 bit 
LAB and might go to 8 bit RGBA.
