That depends of course, when we plan the next release, and what we want with 
it. If the next release would be after a port to Qt4, there will be more time 
to add fun stuff than if we do another release before the porting.

I think that for a next release, we'd have at least, like Casper already said, 
some Lab colorspace. Some new filter plugins would be very nice to have 
(Modify curves for example). Also, implementing more generic I/O with the 
proposed KisFileFormat framework looks like a good idea to include next 
release.
