Regression in 1.4.1

I've spent the afternoon trying to discover what is happening here:

Fwd: [Bug 109913] New: Crashes after drawing box, making selection then 
filling selection with gradient

Actually, I don't get a crash, Krita just hangs, probably because I have more 
memory than the reporter. The curious thing is, I believe the culprit is the
following line in KisPainter::bltSelection:

KisHLineIterator selIter = selection -> createHLineIterator(dx, dy + i, sw, 
false);

Has anyone an idea how this can make Krita hang? I mean -- it's just an 
iterator on a paint device!
