I'm Casper Boemann. I live a little north of Copenhagen in Denmark. I'm an
IT professional, and I work on healtcare/medical jounaling systems, with an
educational background of IT engineering.

> - When did you first hear of Krita, why did you get involved with Krita
and
> what are your contributions?
About 1½ year ago when I browsed the koffice pages. I had actually been
working on a similar project (my own and not released) for the motif
toolkit, but as I swiched to KDE I gave up on that.

> - Is Krita the first free software project you are working on or did you
work
> on other projects?
The first if you discount small patches to xine and nedit.

> - How much time do you usually spend working on Krita?
On average 5-10 hours a week since newyear. Before that not much, and even
now it comes in batches when time allows from work and gymnastics (my other
big passion)

> - What motivates/keeps you motivated to work on Krita?
I miss a good paint appl with layers for kde. And then it's fun to work with
ui, graphics and algorithms.

> - Where does Krita has its strengths? What do you think is still missing
badly
> in Krita?
The integration with kde. The core is strong. The only core thing that's
still missing is colorstrategy independence. The structure is there but it
needs a substantial review/rework.

Another strength is the developer team. We seem to have similar goals for
the core, ui,scripting ect.

> -What are your future plans for Krita?
To do the colorspace independence rework. fixing bugs and adding
functionallity to support the things that the other teammembers have already
said.
