Not really as much progress as I'd have wanted -- there are endless talks and
the evenings are mostly spent sitting on a terrace and having a glass of beer
-- cooling down from the excessive heat here in Malaga.
Still, I've been fixing a few bugs (we completely forgot that we don't have
any code to export to different colorspaces!) and I've made a start with
pulling out the sdk from the core and ui libs; that's going to be a really
big refactoring.
I'm also pretty much permanently disconnected, since the network here is
completely atrocious. Wifi doesn't work, the place where we sleep is not
connected, there aren't enough dhcp leases. Oh, and the connection is pretty
flakey. And I'm being hit by a spam storm, too.
So, not much communication from me this week; I will now check-in the
beginning of the api separation; it means renaming KisPaintDevice to
KisPaintDeviceImpl, and adding a new KisPaintDevice interface class and
adding a new directory, which means a new make -f Makefile.cvs and so on --
and a make clean.
People, feel free to start fixing our colorspaces to use the right formulas,
either by implementing a fallback to xyz in the abstract colorspace, or by
doing it in a specific colorspace -- I won't be working on that today or
tomorrow. And Friday I'll be going home.
(PS -- Krita has really made a splash, people are completely impressed by our
progress and floored by what we can already do.)
