Yes i noted this too :) but seems that all ioslaves dont inherit from 
TCPSlaveBase. for example kio_ftp does from slaveBase instead.

but i guess that its a good idea to move this part of the code to TCPSlaveBase 
and write it again to the slaves that inherit from slaveBase
