Hi Manolo

Thanks a lot for this patch! It reduces the CPU ussage a lot! But: the MD5 is 
not correct anymore after paueseing and starting a download again... That's 
really a problem. But I'm not sure if this was always correct before... 
People noticed this problem also before:

Could you please check that? It's really important for the release which will 
be quite soon ;)
