Ok. In the meantime you could maybe start documenting the transfer interfaces. 
For example is slotResume also called when the download is started for the 
first time, what does the boolean return value signify, retransfer() is also 
unclear and especially setSegmented(int ...) is this called from a client? 
Shouldn't that be protected and called from transfers which offer that 
functionality, setSpeed(int speed) is that a means of throttling the 
transfer? Same for setDelay()...
