            Bug ID: 422997
Summary: Filenames containing newlines cause renaming to
                    discard entire filename
           Product: dolphin
           Version: 20.04.2
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-null at kde.org
          Reporter: invertedrat at gmail.com
                CC: kfm-devel at kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
If a filename contains newlines, trying to rename it causes the entire filename
to be discarded, rather than highlighted for editing as usually happens.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a file with newlines in the filename and navigate to it in Dolphin
2. Right click on the file and select the "Rename" option

OBSERVED RESULT
The filename editing field contains only the file extension of the file. The
original name of the file has vanished.

EXPECTED RESULT
Like with filenames that do not contain newlines, the original filename ought
to be presented in the filename editing field.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.70.0
Qt Version: 5.15.0
