Split View in dolphin usability issue

Hi,

a nice way how we can solve this behavior which was proposed on G+
would be, to add a close button to each view which would close the
corresponding view the user wants to have closed.
This wouldn't result in a changed behavior which may confuse the user
and won't introduce a new toolbar button or setting.
I don't know at the moment if this is possible with the current view
implementation of dolphin (I think in QML this would be quite easy, in
Qt Widgets i don't know perhaps someone like you can say how difficult
this would be?) or how many code this may introduce.

When I find the time I will create screenshots with a proposal of how
this could look like and blog about the whole topic.
