One problem that I encountered this weekend on the KDE-PIM meeting was that no 
Soprano backend was installed which results in Nepomuk using a dummy backend 
which does not store anything. I introduced this to prevent crashes. 
Apparently Dolphin gets not informed by libnepomuk about this. I will fix 
that.

Not in KDE 4. Sorry. But when running KDE trunk with 
playground/base/nepomuk-kde you can search for everything including tags (for 
example: "hastag:foobar") and browse your tage via the tags:/ KIO slave.
