Statically linked Konqueror

Hello:

I was wondering how one would build a completely statically linked
version of konqueror that will run on Linux.  I noticed there are ways
to build a static konqueror for a palmtop environment, but I don't seem
to be able to do the same for a standard UNIX environment.
