open file and close konqueror

When I want to open a file, I open the home directory => Konqueror opens => I
browse to the specific folder containg the file => click on the file to open
If the file is for example an OO-Document => OO opens and the Konqueror-Window
remains in the background
If the file is an PDF I normally right click to open it with Acrobat Reader,
because I do not want it opened within Konqueror. So here also, in the
backround remains the Konqueror window
The idea is to have the possibility to simultaneously close Konqueror while
opening a file by pressing a special key (for example c) while clicking on
the file. You avoid in this way to separately close the Konqueror window
afterwards.
Of course you can choose another way to open a file (kdialog --getopenurl
filname), or perhaps use this to create a helpful script, which I am not yet
good at. ;-) But I am sure a lot of people open files in the described
manner...
