Yes, otherwise everyone who hasn't read this discussion, won't know anything
about step 1 above, will keep using ':', and will be very surprised that gg:foo
doesn't work in kde4 anymore. Why break things for user if they aren't broken?

That's not the same as making both work, in both KDE3 and KDE4
(for the benefit of people who want to use a space, like mozilla users)

In documentation we can s/:/ / of course.
